The two most common species of snow crab are the Opilio and the Baridi. Snow crabs are harvested from the clean, icy waters of Alaska and Canada. The white delicate meat is sweet and similar to King Crab. Snow crabs are generally marketed in clusters of 3 to 4 legs and a claw with shoulders. Whole legs are often sold with the shell scored for easy breaking. These are called "Snap 'N' Eats". All crab products are fully cooked before freezing.
