Almond and Herb Crusted Trout
Ingredients: Directions:
  • 2/3 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup ground almonds
  • 3 tbsp chopped thyme, fresh
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 lb trout fillets
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil

Serves 4

  1. Combine crumbs, almonds, thyme and pepper.
  2. Dip fillets in milk and cover with crumb mixture.
  3. Heat oil in skillet.
  4. Fry fillets for 3 minutes on each side or until completely done and golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towels and garnish as desired.
